Take Control!

| February 21, 2013 | 2 Comments More

We may not have control over everything in our lives, but we do control what we put in our mouths. Remember you can choose what and how much you eat. If you find yourself at a special occasion with the meal as the central focus, take your focus off the food and put it on your friends or family at the event. Strike up conversations, and if possible, guide yourself away from fattening and unhealthy foods. Your body will thank you in the morning.

I do have a copy of your book Habits of health. I need to go back and read section by section. I have to admit that what I did was skip pages and skim through some of them. I did try the diet and still have two full boxes of the food items; I went back to my unhealthy habits and I regret not following the diet properly. So here I sit with weight gain and not feeling good about it. But it is never to late to start again It is all in the mind and the williness to change and be ready. Thank you for all that you do.
