In the meantime, we may use food, TV, and a bunch of things to create instant gratification not realizing that, over time, it's leading us down this path to disease." “Hi, I’m Dr. Wayne Andersen, author of “Dr. A’s Habits of Health.” Today, I’m coming to you from my home office, and I want to spend a few moments to talk about one of the most alarming trends occurring in our country, and that is childhood obesity. Even though there seems to be a small slowdown, what we’re seeing are younger kids becoming even heavier than they were before. That really goes back to our programming. 10,000 years ago, we were hunters and gatherers. We worked very hard to find calories, in fact, we expended a lot of energy.
